I’m not just saying this because I write them, but I genuinely think a poem is a gorgeous way to commemorate a special person or event.
It’s been a huge pleasure to write hundreds of poems for all sorts of occasions over the years.
I’ve written for weddings, naming ceremonies, birthdays, new homes, new parents, anniversaries and even a proposal (GASP)!
If it sounds like something you might be interested in, let me tell you a little bit more about it.
Like most good things, it starts with a big ol’ chat. I’ll set up a call that usually lasts about 20-30 minutes, during which I can get to know you and understand the tone, style, key messages etc.
I’ll then work closely with you to craft a bespoke piece that reflects your personality and captures the emotions and sentiments you want to express.
When it’s ready (roughly a week later) I’ll send it over in both written and audio form.
Have a read, have a listen, take your time.
If anything doesn’t feel quite right, I’ll do up to three rounds of amendments to make sure the piece is exactly how you envisioned it.
And that’s pretty much that.
